A Leon Hart Update

Leon Hart is a five star offensive line recruit from Columbia's Spring Valley High School. Hart, 6-4 and 283 pounds, had a great opening game last Friday night against one of the Vikings' biggest rivals.

In their 14-6 win against arch-rival Richland NE High School Hart graded out at 95% with 5 knockdown blocks.

"School says I could play guard or tackle." Hart said. "For me, it really doesn't matter although I prefer tackle. I think I am a good run and pass blocker. My specialty is getting to the second level and blocking those linebackers. I think I move pretty well and could fit into any system at the next level."

Speaking of the next level, Hart likes seven schools right now. The big question is does Hart stay in-state or leave the Palmetto State?

"All I can say is that I will go wherever I feel comfortable, whether it's in or out of state. Right now, I like South Carolina (camp), Clemson, Virginia, Auburn (camp), Florida, Penn State, and Ohio State. I plan on going to some games this season and taking my official visits after the season. The phone has been ringing off the hook and all my top schools have called but UVA and Florida."

Last weekend, Hart attended the Georgia/ Clemson game. This weekend, he will go to the Virginia/ South Carolina game. We will continue to keep you updated on one of South Carolina's finest prospects, right up through signing day.
