Briggs Waiting for Clemson Offer

Michael Briggs, a two way star from Gastonia, is working hard his senior season hoping to receiver offers from his favorites. caught up with Briggs, and we've got the latest on his weekend visit to North Carolina and his visit plans for the next few weeks.

The favorites haven't changed and neither has the offer list for the outstanding linebacker and receiver, as he continues to wait for offers from his favorites. "Clemson, North Carolina and South Carolina are still my leaders," stated Briggs.

The 6-1, 228 pound athlete is working hard to show the college recruiters that he can compete at the collegiate level. Briggs, who has led his team to a 2-0 start, had an impressive game last Friday. "On defense I knocked a guys helmet off. I also knocked the quarterback out of the game. I also caught a screen pass for 47 yards and rushed for 2 touchdowns."

The outstanding player is anxious to talk with the college coaches now that they can call again. "Furman called tonight and I'm hoping some of the others will soon."

Briggs watched the Tar Heels battle the Noles on Saturday. "It was a good visit. Greg Jones looked great. I talked to coach Bunting and my recruiting coach. They said they would call me this week."

The visit tour will continue this weekend when the talented prospect travels to Columbia to see South Carolina battle Virginia. "The next weekend I may attend the Clemson game. I'm not sure yet."
