For three weeks, the home of the show has been the lawn at Littlejohn and many of you have made the Tiger Pregame show a part of your game day experience in Clemson.
Now, you will have the opportunity to enjoy that same game day experience on the road with the Tigers this Saturday in a crucial early season ACC match up with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
"Going to a Clemson game in Death Valley is the ultimate experience. However, traveling with the Tigers is also a ton of fun and this is a huge game for Clemson and Georgia Tech," Scott Rhymer said.
Rhymer, Roy Philpott, and Aly Darby will broadcast the Tiger Pre Game Show live inside of Jocks & Jills in Midtown Atlanta from 2-4 Saturday afternoon. As always, the show will be broadcast on WCCP 104.9 in the upstate of South Carolina and live via the Internet at www.wccpfm.com.
"Since this game is not televised, a huge Clemson contingent is expected in Atlanta and we want you to make Jocks & Jills your headquarters for the game," said Roy Philpott.
Jocks & Jills is located on 10th street right off of I-85 in Atlanta.
If you are coming down 85-South from the Greenville/Spartaburg area go right past the intersection of I-75 and I-85 and take the 14th/10th street exit. Go up to 10th street and take a left, and Jocks & Jills will be down 3 blocks down on the left.
Jocks & Jills Midtown is located within one mile of Bobby Dodd Stadium and is within walking distance to the game.
However, the folks at Jocks & Jills will offer free shuttle service to and from the game, so you can enjoy your tailgating inside Jocks & Jills and then get free transportation right up to the stadium!
"If you have been to a game in Atlanta, you know what a nightmare parking can be. There are also a limited amount of places that you can park and tailgate. So, we are going to do the tailgating for you inside of Jocks & Jills Midtown," Philpott said Sunday.
The show will include all of the same great things that make up the show in Clemson. Scott and Roy will offer detailed analysis of the game including interviews with the key Clemson players. Aly will have her hand held microphone as she maneuvers around the restaurant getting thoughts and predictions from the fans as they enjoy the food and drinks of Jocks & Jills.
"As always, I'm looking for guys to get their prediction on the radio, so you better be ready when I come by," Darby said.
The promotional staff will be on hand to give out free WCCP t-shirts, collapsible cozies, and window decals. Pebble Creek Golf for 2 passes will be available, and tickets to the Clemson and Georgia Tech game will be given away at some point in the show.
Jocks & Jills has over 70 televisions with every college game on somewhere in the restaurant. There are some huge games nationally next weekend that will be on television during the time the pregame show will be broadcasting.
"We will be on the air from 2-4, but the WCCP staff will be staying inside Jocks & Jills afterward to watch all the great college games and to get pumped up for our Tigers", Rhymer said. "You want to plan your day around watching the games with us at Jocks & Jills".
