Lake Mary High School
Lake Mary, Florida
Taylor Tremel was one of the first commitments in 2004 recruiting class for the Tigers. Now that he's midway through his senior year, does he still feel like he made the right decision?
"Absolutely. I feel good about my decision. I want to get up there again. I like the atmosphere. I want to spend more time with Coach West and Coach Swinney."
Coach Swinney, who is recruiting Tremel as an offensive tackle, continues to show the prize recruit how important he is to the future of the program. "I talked with Coach Swinney late last week. We just talked about the Georgia game and how my season had gone."
The 6-4, 280 pound lineman has not had an opportunity to make it to any games yet this season, but does plan to attend a Clemson game later this season. "We have a Thursday game in October. I plan on coming to Clemson that weekend to catch a game."
Taylor's senior season for Lake Mary High School has started similar to the Clemson's.
"We lost our first game also. We've tried to bounce back and we have done a good job. We pulled out a close one last week. We won 21-14 last game, but it should have been higher. Our season has mirrored Clemson's season. We are getting better each week as well. We have a big game against Ovideo this weekend."
Tremel is very much looking forward to getting up to Clemson next year. "I'm looking forward to working with the coaches some. I want to get to know the area. I want to learning the play book and the offense."
