Barber's offer list currently includes Clemson, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee, but expect that list to grow as many of other top programs including Miami are showing significant interest in the talented prospect.

In interview with CUTigers, Barber clearly indicated that he is not ready to go on record with a leader or a list of favorites at this point.

The 6-2, 215 pound prospect, who runs a 4.5 forty, has all the physical tools to be a star defender on the collegiate level. "My strength is my ability to break on the ball," stated Barber.

The Northwestern High School superstar has visited Clemson for 2 games already this season.

"I went up for the Georgia game and the Middle Tennessee game. I went with some of my teammates. It was pretty good." The talented prospect plans to visit South Carolina for their game this Saturday.

Coach Blackwell is recruiting Barber as a free safety for the Tigers. "I like Coach Blackwell a lot. I want to wait until after the football season to make a decision."

What will Barber consider when determining where he will play college football? "I want to take my visits. I will also look at playing time. I would like to have early playing time."

"I want to play as a true freshman, but if I have to I'll red-shirt. I'm looking at the coaching staffs, academics, defensive schemes, and the business school ranking."

Most recruiting analysts refer to Barber as a "true playmaker." He could play any of three positions in college between running back, safety, and some college coaches even believe he could play linebacker.
