Rockingham County High School
Rockingham, North Carolina

The impressive offer list for the Rockingham prospect includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Duke, East Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan and Nebraska. Ellerbe is not ready to go on record with a leader or a list of favorites at this point.

Ellerbe and teammate Jamar Bryant, who is also being heavily recruited, went to Raleigh to see the Wolfpack battle Texas Tech this weekend. "It was good. We left in the 3rd quarter. The game was over by then."

The 6-1, 185 pound superstar visited North Carolina for the Florida State game earlier this season and is busy making plans for several other visits.

"I am planning to go see Clemson, Duke and Tennessee play later in the year," stated Ellerbe.

Don't expect an early commitment from the superstar defender. "I plan to wait until signing day to make my commitment," stated Ellerbe.

Coach O'Cain is doing his best to keep the Tigers in the mix for the prize recruit. "Coach O'Cain has been calling. He wants to know how my games are going. He plans to come see me play later this season."

We will keep you updated on this outstanding defender from North Carolina, right up through signing day 2004.
