DE Mack Frost
6-5, 230, 4.65
Spring Valley High School
Columbia, South Carolina

The superstar defender from Columbia currently has most of the ACC and SEC on his list of favorites. "Right now my favorites are South Carolina, Clemson, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee," stated Frost.

Frost has all the physical tools to be an outstanding defensive end at the collegiate level. The outstanding defender combines a 6-5, 230 pound frame with impressive 4.7 speed. Frost recorded 1 sack and 2 tackles for loss in Spring Valley's 22-21 victory last week.

How will Frost decide on a leader? "I just want to visit some of the schools. I want to see what the atmosphere is like and talk with the coaches."

Frost will be watching carefully to see how his favorites perform during the rest of the season.

"It is somewhat important. That way I'll know what I'm going into," stated the prize recruit. The talented defender has already attended the Clemson verse Georgia, South Carolina verse Virginia and the Georgia verse South Carolina games this season.

Early playing time will also be something that Frost will consider. "That will have some impact as well. I know Clemson is losing both of their defensive ends this year. I would have a chance to play early there."

Coach Brad Scott is working hard to make sure Frost understands how badly the Tigers want him running down the hill. "Coach Scott has been calling every week. We just talk about getting up for another game. He also wants me to setup an official visit date."

The talented prospect spent Saturday watching several of his favorites. "I watched the Tennessee and Florida game and then I watched the Georgia game against LSU."

Frost plans to take all of his official visits before making his decision. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive end from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2004. Top Stories
