Offensive Lineman to Visit the Tigers

This powerful offensive lineman from the state of Florida is planning on making a trip to Tiger Town to see what Tommy Bowden's program is all about. Who are his current favorites and who else is in the picture?

Brian Johnson (6'5, 300, 5.0) has offers on the table right now from LSU, Arkansas, Clemson, Florida and Southern Cal. The Miami Hurricanes have also entered the picture and could have an offer on the table very soon.

"I am open but those are the schools I like right now. I know that LSU, Arkansas, and Clemson will get visits for sure," says Johnson in a recent interview with Jamie Newberg.

Johnson is quick for his size and very strong. He benches close to 390 and squats an impressive 515 lbs. He is known as another one of those players that "blows people" consistently off the ball. So far this season, Johnson has graded out at over 85% and has registered almost 20 pancake blocks.

Coach Rick Stockstill has been the one recruiting Brian Johnson the hardest. It has also been reported that the Tigers are after two of his teammates, and this could play significantly into who and who doesn't become a Tiger.

Shelton Crews, coach at Godby High, has called Brian Johnson the best player to come out of his school in the seven years he's been there as head coach. It goes without saying that this kid has impressed a lot of people around the country. Top Stories
