DE Mack Frost

Spring Valley High School
Columbia, South Carolina

The star defender from Columbia has offers from many of the top programs on the east coast but 6 schools are fighting to get him on campus for an official visit. "Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, Clemson, Auburn and Tennessee would be my favorites," stated Frost.

Frost is starting to plan his official visits, but he does expect to take all five. "My dad said we probably wouldn't take all my visits. I will probably only take 3 or 4. I already have one set with Maryland for December 12. Both of the in-state schools will probably get visits."

The Spring Valley star attended the South Carolina game against Kentucky on Thursday night with his teammate Anthony Davis. Frost also expects to attend the South Carolina game against LSU this weekend. With all the visits to South Carolina does that make the Gamecocks the favorite? "No, it's just easier to go see them because they are so close."

Frost did not attend the Clemson game against Virginia but he did catch some of it on television. "I didn't go to the game. I saw a little bit of it on television. I'm glad Clemson won."

Coach Brad Scott is recruiting Frost and his talented teammates Leon Hart and Anthony Davis. "He called last weekend," stated Frost.

What will the talented prospect consider when making his decision about where he would like to play next season? "I will basically look at the relationship I have with the coaches. Most of the schools are pretty much the same academically."

The 6-5, 230 pound defensive end was planning to wait until February to make his commitment but that timeframe may be changing. "I think I might move it up to January and make my decision a little earlier," stated the prize recruit.
