The 6-4, 315 pound tackle showed that he definitely has the physical skills to be a major contributor at the collegiate level. Scott showed great strength as he fought of double and triple teams most of the night. The talented prospect also showed great lateral movement as he pursued the running backs all over the field.

Lancaster held a 6-0 lead at the half after shutting down the Ridge View offense and scoring on a long touchdown run. With his team trailing 6-0 at the half, Scott came out in the 3rd quarter and played both ways in the second half. In the second half the star lineman showed that he could also be an impressive offensive tackle. Ridge View quickly scored a touchdown in the third quarter to take a 7-6 lead and went on to 14-6 victory.

Scott had to leave the game early in the forth quarter after suffering a concussion. After the game he was transported to the hospital but returned home later and is resting comfortably.

Former Tiger Jeff Scott roamed the sidelines as one of the assistant coaches for Ridge View. Jeff seemed right at home on the sidelines and appeared to have a great relationship with his players.

It is easy to see why the coaches from Clemson and South Carolina are battling over Dorrel Scott. With defensive tackle being one of the top priorities for the Tigers in this years recruiting class, expect Brad Scott to be spending a good bit of time at Ridge View over the coming months trying to convince Dorrel that he should be running down the hill next season.
