Ashcraft Coming to the Valley

Albert Ashcraft plans to travel to Death Valley this weekend to see his top 2 schools do battle as the Tigers face the Tarheels. Are the Tigers still the leader for the superstar athlete from Monroe, North Carolina? We've got all the details in this recruiting update.

The 6-3, 190 pound speedster led Monroe to a 33-6 victory last Friday. Ashcraft carried the ball 10 times for 119 yards and he scored 2 touchdowns.

"Clemson is still my leader. Coach O'Cain just called. He was just telling me about the game this week. He wanted me to come down to check it out. I will be there." Coach O'Cain plans to come see the prize recruit in action on October 31 as they battle Charlotte Catholic.

North Carolina State is starting to show more interest in the talented prospect but they have yet to offer. "They came by the school on Friday. They are third right now behind Clemson and North Carolina."

Ashcraft is not sure when he will make his decision. The Monroe High superstar has not scheduled any of his official visits yet.
