Are the Clemson Tigers still your leader?
Ben Gabbard: Yes, Clemson is still my leader.

When is that last time you talked with the Clemson coaching staff?
Ben Gabbard: I just got off the phone with Coach Lovett. We talked about their game last week. He said it's not easy playing on Saturday and then playing that soon. He said that coming off a game you don't want to go too hard, but you have to get ready for the next game. He told me that Coach West is trying to come up to watch me soon. He can't come this week because we have a Friday night game and they play at noon.

Have you followed the Clemson season closely?
Ben Gabbard: Yes I have. I've watched pretty much all of the games, except Maryland.

When do you expect to make a commitment?
Ben Gabbard: I still want to try to take my visit to Clemson and some other visits. Then I will make a decision.

Have you setup any official visits yet?
Ben Gabbard: I haven't scheduled anything yet. I will probably visit Clemson, Towson, Harvard and maybe Wake Forest.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding offensive lineman from Maryland, right up through signing day 2004.
