The Atlanta Falcons today announced that T Bob Whitfield was placed on injured reserve after suffering a broken right fibula as well as ligament damage in the third quarter vs. Philadelphia last Sunday.
T Dwayne Morgan was signed from the practice squad to the 53-man roster to replace Whitfield. Morgan, 6-4, 300 pounds, was originally signed by the Falcons in February. He was waived after
training camp and was signed to the practice squad.
After finishing his college career at Clemson, Morgan spent time in the CFL with Hamilton and Toronto.
