Sumter High School
Sumter, South Carolina

The 6-4, 210 star quarterback did not attend Saturday's game but he did watch with great interest on television.

"I watched the game. It was a big win for them. They are trying to get in bowl position. It may not help them win the conference title, but it certainly put a stop to Florida State's national title hopes."

Richardson is not ready to name a leader at this point. "North Carolina State, Clemson, Maryland and South Carolina are my favorites," stated the prize recruit.

The talented quarterback led Sumter High School to a 42-14 victory in the first round of the playoffs last Friday. Richardson had another outstanding performance as he completed 15 of 18 passes for over 230 yards including 2 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing touchdown. This week Sumter will battle Lexington in the second round of the playoffs.

Richardson has not scheduled any of his official visits yet. "I will start setting them up towards the end of the season," stated the gunslinger.

The Tigers will get another chance to impress the Sumter star when he attends the Palmetto state championship between Clemson and South Carolina. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding quarterback from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2004.
