Ashcraft Drawing Closer to Commitment caught up with Monroe superstar athlete Albert Ashcraft to see if he continues to favor the Clemson Tigers. When will the talented prospect make his commitment? We've got the answers in this recruiting update.

RB Albert Ashcraft
6-3, 190, 4.5
Monroe High School
Monroe, North Carolina

Ashcraft was unable to attend the Tigers impressive victory over the Seminoles. "I had hoped to got to the game but I wasn't able to attend. I didn't even get a chance to watch it because of some family matters."

The Monroe High standout will have plenty of time to consider where he would like to play next season as Monroe lost a heartbreaker 26-28 to Forbush in the first round of the playoffs last weekend. "We lost our playoff game to Forbush last Friday by 2 points," stated Ashcraft.

Do the Tigers continue to lead for the 6-3, 190 pound prospect? "Clemson is still the leader," stated the talented athlete.

Now that his impressive senior season is over, Ashcraft will spend the next few weeks making his decision about where he will be playing next season. When does the prize recruit plan to make his commitment? "I am thinking about December. It will probably be sometime in late December."
