Hutchinson Enjoys Trip to Death Valley

Clemson offensive line commitment Bobby Hutchinson traveled to Clemson to watch the Tigers beat the Seminoles last week. caught up with Hutchinson and we've got the latest on his visit to Death Valley and his commitment to the Tigers in this recruiting update.

The standout offensive lineman from Florida made the long trip from Madison Country Florida to Clemson with his mother and his sister last week, and the entire family came away very impressed. "I went to meet the guys and see the game day atmosphere. I didn't really think they would win the game. I was really surprised. They played great. I got to meet with Cedric Johnson and Tommy Sharpe."

Hutchinson's mother was also very impressed with Clemson. "We've been to games at Florida State, but it was a totally different feeling. It was really something. I can't wait for Bobby to get up there next year."

Is the Madison Country star lineman still committed to the Tigers? "Yes sir. I'm definitely firm with Clemson."

Hutchinson has been working hard in the weight room this season and has added 20 pounds since the summer. The 6-5, 290 pound star lineman has helped lead Madison County High School to an undefeated season. They play in the second round of the playoffs this week against a team the defeated 34-6 during the regular season. "I'm doing real good. I'm real healthy. I'm in the best shape of my life."

The prize recruit enjoyed the celebration after the big victory. "It was real crazy. I went down on the field after the game. Everyone was rushing onto the field."

Hutchinson had a chance to talk with several of the Clemson coaches during his visit. "I talked with Coach Bowden, Coach West and Coach Swinney. They talked about the game. They wanted to know more about how my season was going."

What is Hutchinson looking forward to the most about attending Clemson next year? "Just the guys. I also like the town itself. It's real nice. Everyone is real nice up there. Everyone is real humble at Clemson."
