LB Dannell Elerbe
6-1, 181, 4.6
Rockingham County High School
Rockingham, North Carolina

The 6-0, 180 pound superstar from Rockingham watched some of the Tigers game against Florida State, and it actually turned out like he had predicted earlier in the year. "I watched the end of it. I couldn't watch the whole game. I was hoping for the upset. I called that early in the year."

Richmond County remains undefeated as they go further into the playoffs. Ellerbe has had an impressive senior season, but he is not satisfied with his performance. "I'm doing alright. I'm not where I want to be however."

Ellerbe is not ready to go on record with a leader or a list of favorites at this point, but he has scheduled three of his official visits. "I'm going to visit Clemson, Tennessee and North Carolina. I am going to Clemson on January 9. I'm looking at Michigan, Nebraska and Georgia for the other 2 visits."

Ellerbe's talented teammate Jamar Bryant has also scheduled an official visit with the Tigers for January 9. The talented teammates would like to play together next season on the collegiate level. "Hopefully so. We still talk about it some."

When will the superstar defender make his commitment? "It will be close to signing day," stated the prize recruit.

Ellerbe plans to visit North Carolina or Tennessee this weekend. The talented prospect had hoped to visit Clemson for the Florida State game but he was unable to make the trip.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding athlete from North Carolina, right up through signing day 2004.
