The Clemson Tigers already secured the verbal commitment of one offensive lineman from Highland Springs (VA). CUTigers.com brings you the latest on what may be one of top targets for the Clemson coaching staff in the 2004 class.

OL Wyatt Hicks
6-5, 250, 4.9
Highland Spring High School
Highland Springs, Virginia
Highland Springs (VA) offensive lineman Wyatt Hicks has several offers and a favorite, but he also has another school that he would like to see offer.

"I've got offers from Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech, Ohio, and I've been talking to UNC. They are coming to see me December 1st. I am talking to Maryland and UVa as well, and I hope they offer."

As for a favorite, among his offering schools, Hicks says that Clemson is in lead.

"It is tough to pick a favorite, but I like UNC because of the way their line plays, and the location. My family has a place down there near the campus."

Hicks has not been able to line up any visits, and the scheduling could be a bit tough.

"I play basketball, so they are all asking me when is best for me to come visit. I'm trying to wait until after I get football over with, since we are still in the playoffs, and I will be able to sit down with my basketball coach to figure that out."
