The 6-4, 190 pound star athlete was not able to attend the game as planned, but he did watch with interest on television. "I didn't get to go to the game as I had hoped because we got back so late from my playoff game last night. I watched it on television. I can't say anything about the game. It was amazing. By the time you blinked they were scoring."

Morris led Timmonsville to another playoff win on Friday night. The standout athlete rushed for over 150 yards, had over 50 yards receiving and scored 3 touchdowns. This week Morris will play against one of his best friends Mike Hamlin as Timmonsville battles Lamar.

Did the outcome of the game have any impact on when you may make your decision? "Well it kind of did. Clemson is my leader. I'm still going to wait a little while longer." Tennessee and South Carolina are the other teams the Timmonsville star is considering.

Morris would like to play next season with Lamar's Mike Hamlin, as they are good friends. The two Palmetto stars have not talked since the game last night. If Hamlin decides he wants to be a Tiger could a commitment be coming soon? "I probably would if Michael wants to do the same," stated the prize recruit.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding athlete from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2004.
