Q&A with Cory Lambert

"It was an awesome game. I was hoping Clemson would win. They did exactly that. I couldn't believe it. I thought SC would come out strong because they were playing for a bowl game," said Cory Lambert, one of the top offensive linemen in the state.

Did you attend the Clemson game against South Carolina last night?
Cory Lambert: Yes I did. I went with my teammate Alex Pearson, his parents, and my mother.

What are your thoughts on the Palmetto state showdown?
Cory Lambert: It was an awesome game. I was hoping Clemson would win. They did exactly that. I couldn't believe it. I thought SC would come out strong because they were playing for a bowl game.

How long did you stay?
Cory Lambert: We left with about 8 minutes to go in 4th quarter.

Are the Tigers still your leader?
Cory Lambert: Yes, Clemson is still my leader.

Last time you spoke with CUTigers.com you said you were 70% sure you would commit to the Tigers. What are the chances after last night?
Cory Lambert: I guess you could say 80% after last night.

How did your playoff game go last week?
Cory Lambert: The referees got us. We had a field goal that everyone said was good. The refs said it didn't go. We looked at the tape and it definitely was good. Now I will concentrate on recruiting and getting ready for the Shrine Bowl.

What impressed you the most about the Tigers impressive performance against the Gamecocks?
Cory Lambert: It was seeing how good the offensive line played. They didn't give up a sack. The offensive line did great.

When do you believe you will make your commitment?
Cory Lambert: I'm not sure yet. If they offer Alex it could be soon. I'm still waiting to see what happens with Alex.
