Morris May Commit when Burns Visits

Phillip Morris, one of the top athletes in South Carolina, is getting close to pulling the trigger with his commitment. Will the Morris family be spending all of their Saturdays following the Tigers next season or will they be spending time somewhere else?

The 6-4, 190 pound speedster from Timmonsville will have more time to concentrate on recruiting now that his team is no longer in the playoffs. "We lost 14-6 to Lamar last night. I had about 75 yards rushing."

Morris and Hamlin are getting closer to announcing their decisions according to Morris, but the two Palmetto stars may end up at different schools next year.

"Yeah we are trying to get a little closer. We know it's about that time. I feel like he is in a bind. He's still leaning towards SC but he knows I want to go to Clemson. We may end up going different places."

Coach Burns may be is scheduled to visit the Timmonsville star this week and a commitment could come during the visit. "Coach Burns is coming by the house this week. If he makes me feel good I guess I may go ahead and commit."

Although his senior season is complete, Morris want have much time to relax. "I will be playing basketball this season as well," stated the prize recruit.
