WR Mike McIntosh
6-2, 182, 4.40
First Coast High School
Mike McIntosh was one of the many recruits at the Florida State/ Florida game in the Swamp this past Saturday. McIntosh, a wide receiver from Jacksonville (Fla.) First Coast High School, said he was impressed by both teams and the stadium was crazy.
"That was some great football," McIntosh said. "It was an incredible game. I thought Florida had them and then FSU hit that fourth down pass. The stadium was electric from the start. It was crazy. The recruits were into it as well."
McIntosh has already taken one official visit this year and that was to LSU back in October. He will visit Auburn this weekend and then have January visits to Clemson (1-9), Florida (1-16) and Florida State (1-23).
Right now, I am wide open. All I can tell you is that I will be committing in January some time."
McIntosh finished the season 7-2 with 27 receptions for 507 yards and 7 touchdown receptions.
Clemson wide receivers coach Dabo Swinney is recruiting McIntosh for the Tigers. He favored Clemson and Auburn back in the summer before switching gears with several Florida schools.
We will continue to keep you updated on Mike McIntosh, right up through signing day 2004.
