"Right now I'm keeping all of my options open. I'm looking at Clemson, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Georgia, Tennessee, Duke, and East Carolina," said 6-foot-1, 180-pound linebacker Dannell Ellerbe.

"All of these schools have good programs and are all good teams. If I go to one of these schools I will have to change to play in a bowl game and play for a ring possible. All of the schools also have good academics and have my major, education."

So who all is going to get an official visit from this talented linebacker?

"I've got two official visits set up with Tennessee, I don't know the date yet, and Clemson January 9th. I'm also considering taking my last three visits to Georgia, East Carolina, Duke or North Carolina."

Ellerbe would not mind playing with teammates Jamar Bryant or Marcus Rush in college. "Right now Jamar and I are both looking at North Carolina State and East Carolina, but that's about it."

When will a decision be made?

"I'm going to commit sometime around signing day, that's all that I know right now."

Coach O'Cain is recruiting Ellerbe as an outside linebacker for the Tigers. We will continue to keep you updated on Dannell Ellerbe, right up through his commitment.
