Clemson Coach Ron West is scheduled to visit North Augusta standout Andre Young Thursday morning. "Coach West is coming by the house to meet with me at 7. After he meets with me and my parents at the house we will both be going to the school."

The talented receiver from North Augusta High School set a state record with 332 yards receiving in his final game this season. Overall, he finished his impressive senior campaign with 72 receptions for 1,311 yards and 12 touchdowns.

If the Tigers were to offer would he commit on the spot? "It's possible," stated the prize recruit. Young was unsure if the Tigers were going to offer.

The 6-5, 190 pound prospect does not currently have any offers but that should change as he is receiving significant interest from Clemson, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Alabama, Ole Miss and Oklahoma State.

Football runs in the family for Andre, as his brother is currently a senior wide receiver for Wake Forest. His father played professional football for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Young would like to play in the wide-open Clemson offense. "I like the offense at Clemson. They sling the ball around. It's a good school to go to as a wide receiver."
