Greenville LB Awaiting Clemson Offer

Alex Pearson, an underrated linebacker from Greenville High School, received a visit from Clemson Coach David Blackwell earlier this week. Did the Greenville standout get the long awaited offer from the Tigers? We've got all the details in this recruiting update.

"Coach Blackwell came by school yesterday to talk to Cory and I. It was a good meeting. He was just telling us how things are going at Clemson. He talked about the contract extension coach Bowden."

The talented linebacker, who grew up a huge Clemson fan, would like to play next season with his teammate Cory Lambert who is a strong lean to the Tigers.

Coach Blackwell will make an in-home visit with the Greenville High star next week. "He said he would come by the house next week. He said he would call back. It will probably be next Tuesday or Wednesday."

The 6-2, 245 pound prospect does not have an offer from the Tigers, but he is hopeful that one will come soon. "I don't currently have an offer but I am hopeful that one will come. Coach Blackwell said they were looking at the numbers."
