DB Reshaun Jones
6-1, 180, 4.5
Lake City High School
Lake City, Florida
Coach Swinney visited Lake City this week to meet with Rashaun and his talented teammates Derrick Fulton and Andre Copeland.
"Coach Swinney came by the school this week. We talked about my official visit. He met with the three of us separately." North Carolina also came by to visit with the talented prospect at school this week.
The 6-1, 180 pound defensive back is not ready to go on record with a leader at this time. "Clemson, Syracuse, North Carolina, Miami, Florida, Auburn and South Florida would be my favorites," stated the prize recruit.
The Lake City star would very much like to play next year with his current teammate Derrick Fulton who is also being recruited by the Tigers. "I know for sure I don't go unless he goes. We have talked a lot about playing together next season. We are good friends."
Jones feels that he will be in good shape with his academics at the end of his senior year. "I'll be eligible for next season. It may be late but I'll be eligible."
Jones has already scheduled an official visit with Clemson for the weekend of January 9. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive back from Florida, right up through signing day 2004.
