Opening Comments
"We are both coming off of disappointing losses. They had a tough loss to Winthrop earlier this week and we are coming off an emotional loss to South Carolina. Both teams are trying to 'right the ship' so to speak but both teams have had bright moments during the year. In our particular case, if we can eliminate the turnovers, we'd have a lot more bright moments, and certainly that cost us against South Carolina. It cost us the ability, or the opportunity to have a significant lead going into the half, and when our defense in the second half became stingy and we held them from scoring 7 times down the floor, we go down and turn the ball over 5 or 6 times in a row."

"This is a four game series we have with Georgia that Dennis and I have agreed to. This year it's at Phillips Arena, next year it will be at the Bi-Lo Center, then at Athens in year three, and then year four will be back in Littlejohn. I think it's good for both schools to rekindle the rivalry and then to keep it going out into the future." Top Stories
