Williams Kicked off the Team

Clemson reserve cornerback Larrey Williams has been kicked off the team. The only thing we know at this point is that Williams was removed from the team for a "violation of team rules."

Larrey Williams, who is usually referred to as "Buddy" Williams, was listed as the third team cornerback, behind Sergio Gilliam and Justin Miller, headed into the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl.

Williams recorded 17 tackles on the season and a fumble recovery, with most of his action coming for the Tigers on special teams.

Orginally a native of Tallahassee, Florida, Williams came to Clemson in the 2002 class after choosing the Tigers over Miami and Georgia.

Sports Information Tim Bourret confirmed this over the weekend.
