CU Prospect Commits to Iowa

RB Shonn Greene
Winslow Township High School
Atco, New Jersey

Iowa made their first mark at Winslow Township in signing defensive back Khalik Price last Feburary. Now, they will set forth in signing Winslow Township running back Shonn Greene this coming Feburary.

"I verbally committed to Iowa on my visit this weekend, said Greene. "As soon as I arrived there, I felt a part of the team. The players took me in as a teammate, and I clicked with all of them. I was introduced to a lot of people, and they were all great. I have a former teammate there in Khalik, and there are a few other Jersey guys, like my host Miguel Merrick. I'm going to come in and battle Albert Young for the running back spot."

So will Greene still take his other visits?

"No, I plan on calling all the other coaching staff's this evening. I'm strong in my commitment to Iowa, and they will just have to accept that."

Clemson defensive coordinator John Lovett was Greene's recruiter to Tiger Town. We will continue to keep you updated on Shonn Greene, should further developments with Clemson occur. Top Stories
