Union DL Sets Clemson Official Visit

How does it feel to compete against the best players in South Carolina this week in preparation for Saturday's Shrine Bowl?
Rashaad Jackson: It's been a great experience. You play against some of the best in-state. They have the same talent as you. There are a lot of challenges out here.

Do you have a leader at this point in the recruiting process?
Rashaad Jackson: To tell you the truth I'm just really open. I have some schools like Clemson, Coastal Carolina, and South Carolina State in contact with me right now.

When is the last time you spoke with the coaching staff at Clemson?
Rashaad Jackson: Coach Tommy Bowden called the house last week, but I wasn't there because I was at a basketball game.

Did you enjoy visiting the kids at the hospital on Sunday?
Rashaad Jackson: It was great. I liked that. It was a great experience, but at the same time it was a little sad for me. I like the kids. They were great.

Where do you plan to take official visits?
Rashaad Jackson: Clemson I know for a fact. I'm going there January 9th. That's all I have set right now.
