Northwestern star C.J. Barber put on an impressive performance in front of his hometown during Saturday's Shrine Bowl. Will some new relationships built this week influence his decision on where to attend college?

The 6-2, 215 pound defender enjoyed the Shrine Bowl experience this week, and he looks forward to his college experience. "It was a good experience. It prepared me for what I'm looking for when I got to college. I'm looking forward to going to college now."

Barber provided nice run support several times during Saturday's Shrine Bowl. "I was playing corner and safety. I just broke on the ball and made the tackles."

Is the Northwestern standout getting closer to making his decision? "I'm still just going to take my visits," stated the prize recruit.

The talented defender did spend time this week talking with teammate Mike Hamlin about the possibility of playing together at Clemson. "Me and Mike we've just been talking a lot," stated Barber.
