GA WR Waiting on Visits

The Clemson Tigers are looking to add a couple more receivers to this year's class and one of those near the top of the board is Marietta's Aaron Kelly. Where do the Tigers stand with the Georgia standout? Find all the details in this recruiting update.

WR Aaron Kelly
6-4, 175, 4.55
Marietta High School
Marietta, Georgia

The 6-4, 165 pound prospect is not ready to go on record with a favorite at this time. "No, not yet," said Kelly. "Wake Forest and Clemson would be my favorites, but I haven't finished all of my official visits."

Kelly has already taken an official visit to Wake Forest and he is scheduled to visit Clemson on January 9. The prize recruit will also probably visit Duke and North Carolina State.

The Walton High School standout will wait until he has completed his visits to make his decision. "I want to wait until after I finish my official visits. I will just talk with my family then. It will be a family decision."

What will the talented athlete consider when deciding where he will attend college?

"I don't want to go to far from home. I want to go to a school that has a good graduation rate. I want to win and play early." Kelly is not sure of his major at this point.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding receiver from Georgia, right up through signing day 2004.

Editor's Note
Kelly remains a firm fixture in the recruiting plans for the Clemson Tigers, as the coaching staff will try to add two more wide outs to the mix with the verbal commitment of La'Dontae Harris already in the bag. Florida native Mike McIntosh, Kelly, Brooks Foster, and Phillip Morris (who will likely be a sign and place) headline the wish list heading in the Christmas holidays. Top Stories
