Timmonsville High School
Timmonsville, South Carolina
With less than 45 days until national signing day Morris is not ready to make a commitment but the Clemson Tigers continue to lead. "Clemson is still my leader," stated the prize recruit.
When will the 6-4, 190 pound prospect be ready to make a commitment? "Not yet. I still want to take my visits."
CUTigers.com also asked Phillip a question that many Clemson fans have been asking about his older brother Kelvin. Will Kelvin be eligible to play again for the Tigers next season? "Yeah, he will be able to play," stated Phillip.
Phillip is working hard to make sure he will be able to qualify. "I'm thinking I will be okay. I need to get my test score up but I think I'll be okay. I'm going to keep taking it from here on out."
The talented prospect feels the chances of playing with his best friend Mike Hamlin next season is improving. "I talked with Mike yesterday about the Shrine Bowl. He talked about the big hit he had during the game. I think he is probably leaning to Clemson now because South Carolina has had so many coaching changes."
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding receiver from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2004.
