Lambert Breaks it All Down

Cory Lambert gave the Clemson coaching staff an early Christmas present when he committed to the Tigers yesterday. caught up with the latest Clemson commitment and we've got the details on his commitment and some final thoughts on his Shrine Bowl experience.

The 6-7, 310 pound superstar from Greenville High told last week that he would commit before Christmas and yesterday he kept his word. "It went great. All of the coaches were together at a Christmas party at Coach Bowden's house. They said I gave them a great Christmas present."

Although Lambert is firmly committed to the Tigers he does plan to take some additional visits. "I'm going to take the visits to Tennessee and Florida State," stated the prize recruit.

The Greenville standout is excited about the opportunity to play for Clemson next season. "I am excited about having a chance to start or play second string my first year," stated Lambert.

Lambert enjoyed the Shrine Bowl experience and he spent some time talking with others that are interested in the Tigers.

"It was pretty fun. It was nice to play with the best players in the state. I talked with Courtney Vincent some who is already committed to Clemson. I also talked some with 'Tooty Boots.' He wants to go to Clemson also."
