Fla RB 85% Clemson Lean

Lake City, Florida

The 5-7, 190 pound speedster has the Clemson Tigers firmly in the lead, as he gets ready for his January 9 visit to Tigertown. "There's probably a real good chance that I will commit to Clemson. I'd say it's about 80 to 85 percent that I will commit to the Tigers."

Is the time for a commitment getting close? "Yes sir. I ‘m probably going to wait until I take my visit. If I really like it on my visit I will probably go ahead and commit before I leave."

Copeland also stated that teammates George Timmons and Rashaun Jones would probably be heading to North Carolina for official visits January 9 instead of Clemson.

Coach Swinney is working hard to convince the Lake City superstar to join the Tigers. "I talked to him a few days before Christmas. He said he would give me a call soon. He said they would be heading to Atlanta to prepare for the Peach Bowl."

Copeland knows what he will be doing on the afternoon of January 2. "I will be watching the Peach Bowl on television," stated the prize recruit.

We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding running back from Florida, right up through signing day 2004.
