Coming to Atlanta? Check This Out!

Are you following the Tigers down to Atlanta? Here is a complete listing of where you'll find most Tiger fans before the big game. Come by Jocks & Jill's Thursday night and don't forget to stop by the Tiger Pregame Show with Roy and Scott, and the Tiger Tailgate Show with Don Munson and company on gameday!

Roy and Scott will close out the 2003 football season by broadcasting live from our 13th game of the year in Atlanta for the Chic-Fil-A Peach Bowl.

The festivities will get started on Thursday night at Jocks & Jills Midtown with a live remote on WCCP 104.9 FM ( in the upstate hosted by Scott Rhymer and Roy Philpott. The broadcast will air from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and will include a complete wrap up of all the New Years Day bowl games as well as preview of the Peach Bowl.

If you are in attendance, there will be an open microphone where you can voice your opinions.

"There will be a ton of Clemson people in town the night before the game, and those that are looking to do something on Thursday night, Jocks & Jill's Midtown is the perfect place to be," Scott Rhymer said. "And don't forget for those of you that have registered for the 2 Peach Bowl tickets at, come by or listen because we will announce the winner at 9:00 PM."

Jocks & Jill's Midtown is located on 10th street right off of I-85. If you are coming from South Carolina, take I-85 take the 14th/10th Street and turn left on 10th Street. Go approximately 1 mile and Jocks & Jills will be on your left at the corner of Peachtree and 10th streets.

On Friday, the Tiger Pregame Show brought to you by will broadcast live from Fan Fest inside the Georgia World Congress Center from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Scott and Roy will be breaking down the Clemson/Tennessee match up with player interviews and in depth analysis.

Also included in the show will be audio clips from Jim Phillips and Pete Yanity of some of the biggest plays of the year for the Tigers. Other WCCP 104.9 on-air personalities will be stopping by to give their input on the game as well. Mickey Plyler is scheduled to be on from 11:30-12:00, Will Merritt from 12:00-12:30, and Dan Scott from 12:30-1:30.

"For the folks that are not coming to Atlanta it will be an entire morning of Clemson football previews they can listen to on the radio. And those that are coming to Atlanta will have a great meeting place where you can join thousands of other Tiger fans and talk Clemson football as you get ready for the game," Rhymer added.

Fan Fest does not open to the public until 11:30 a.m. The Georgia World Congress Center is located directly beside the Georgia Dome and adjacent to Philips Arena. If you are using the MARTA, exit off at the CNN Center stop. Over 10,000 fans from both Tennessee and Clemson will be on hand at Fan Fest where you can enjoy food, drinks, and spirits in addition to plenty of interactive games throughout the building. There will be a pep rally with the Tiger Band and the cheerleaders as well at Fan Fest.

"Fan Fest has been the best place for tailgating at the Peach Bowl. You have an indoor environment with plenty to do, eat, and drink," Philpott points out.

Immediately following the Tiger Pregame Show brought to you by, the Tiger Tailgate Show will air from the same location from 1:30-3:30. Don Munson, Whitney Walters, Bubba Britton, and Duane Evans will be on hand to entertain you in their own special way.
