Capers Backs Off Commitment

The 6-6, 275 pound prospect has been a South Carolina commitment for many months, but Capers is now looking hard at several other schools. What are the chances that the Battery Creek standout will not go to South Carolina? "I would say the chances are 90 percent that I will go somewhere else. It's a high percentage."

"I'd say it's about 50/50 between Clemson and Georgia right now," stated Capers. The Palmetto superstar also noted that he has not heard from the Georgia coaches for several weeks.

Capers currently has a visit scheduled with South Carolina for January 16th and he has not yet set a visit with the Tigers yet. "I'm going to try to get up to Clemson for a visit in January," stated the prize recruit.

Coach Blackwell is recruiting Capers for the Clemson Tigers. "He called the week before Christmas I believe. He was trying to get me to setup an official visit."
