The Shrine Bowl linebacker says that he is still considering Clemson, North Carolina State and South Carolina. All of the favorites are still in the running for the talented defender.

Who is the leader for the prize recruit? "Ah, I hate that question," said Cotton. "I would probably say North Carolina State has a slight lead."

The health of Cotton's mother will have an impact on where he decides to attend college next season. "My mom is sick. If she gets better then I probably won't go to State. If she is still sick I will probably go to State because it is closer to home."

Cotton plans to visit Clemson, North Carolina State and South Carolina in the month of January. Clemson and South Carolina have offered the prize recruit, but the Wolfpack has yet to offer. "I think they will probably offer during my visit," stated Cotton.

The Kernersville standout visited Clemson with his mother and friend Mario Melton earlier this season to watch the Tigers defeat the Seminoles. "It was pretty rowdy down there," stated the talented prospect.
