DeJuan Polk Post Game Interview

Clemson defensive tackle DeJuan Polk walked off the field for the last time as a Clemson Tigers last night. From all accounts, this year's senior class met their goal in a big way the final four games of the season.

How does it feel to go out a winner in your last game?
DeJuan Polk: We had a meeting last night with all the seniors. We wanted to take the program to the next level before we left. I think we did that. Tonight we win and hopefully finish the season in the top 25. We finished out our season great. Last night we said we would leave nothing on the field. You know we say that every game but for some of us this was our last time on the field. We wanted to make sure we left everything on the field.

How much of a role did the seniors play in turning around this season after the Wake Forest game?
DeJuan Polk: It wasn't as vocal as people may think. It was just an attitude and a pride that we took in practice every day. We led by example more than just talk. The team followed and we won four in a row.

What are you planning to next now that your football days at Clemson are over?
DeJuan Polk: I don't know yet. Top Stories
