DE Chris Zellner
6-3, 225, 4.6
Booker High School
Sarasota, Florida

The 6-3, 225 pound prospect, who has a very impressive offer list, has officially narrowed his list down to three schools. "I've narrowed it down to Clemson, Miami and Ohio State," stated Zellner.

Clemson will get the first chance to impress the Florida star when he takes an official visit to Tiger Town on Friday. Zellner will then head directly from Clemson to his official visit at Ohio State on Monday. The talented athlete plans to take an official visit to Miami later in January.

The Sarasota standout was impressed with the Tigers performance in the Peach Bowl and down the stretch this season. "The trick plays were pretty nice. I never really thought Clemson was that bad. I wish they had played like this the whole season. They might have won the national championship."

Coach Brad Scott has been recruiting the prize recruit for the Tigers. Clemson is looking at Zellner as a tight end or defensive end.

Zellner plans to hit the weight room and the track in order to prepare himself for his college career. "I will be working on weight lifting and track. I plan to work on my speed and agility too."

This will not be the first visit to Clemson for Zellner as he took an unofficial visit last summer. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding athlete from Florida, right up through signing day 2004. Top Stories
