The 6-5, 260 pound offensive and defensive lineman is not ready to go on record with a leader. "Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina State and Pittsburgh are my favorites right now," stated Ash in an interview late Tuesday evening.

Coach Lovett is recruiting Ash as a defensive tackle for the Tigers, but he could also play offensive line if needed. "Clemson is recruiting me for defense," stated the prize recruit.

The Willingboro standout was impressed with the Tigers victory over 6th ranked Tennessee in the Peach Bowl.

"I watched the game. I liked the way Clemson came out. They were explosive. They jumped on them quick."

Ash has already taken official visits to Clemson and Pittsburgh and he prefers the Tigers over the Panthers. "I like Clemson a little better because of location. I don't like the cold weather. I also liked the way they played in the Peach Bowl."

The powerful lineman is heading to North Carolina State for an official visit this weekend. Later this month he is also scheduled to visit Tennessee and South Carolina. Ash would like to take all of his official visits before making a decision.

"It's going to be a hard decision. All of them have good schools and nice facilities. After I take all of my visits I will decide which one I enjoyed the most."
