The 6-1, 230 pound linebacker is ready to name a leader heading into the heart of January.

"Wake Forest is my leader right now," said Berry. "They have shown the most interest in me. They also offer the most benefits." Berry took his official visit to Wake Forest in early December.

Although Wake Forest leads for the talented linebacker Clemson is still under consideration. "I am considering them also. I want to take all my official visits before I make my final decision."

Clemson will get their chance to impress Berry when he makes his official visit on January 16. Berry is also scheduled to visit James Madison on January 23 and Virginia is showing more interest so they may get a visit later in January.

Coach Lovett is trying to persuade the talented prospect to come to Tiger Town to play football. "Coach Lovett called just before we left on vacation back around December 20th," stated Berry.

What factors will Berry consider when determining where he will attend college? "I will look at location, playing time, education and major. I would like to major in the medical field."

Berry watched the Peach Bowl and was surprised at how well the Tigers played. "They played a pretty good game. I was pulling for them but I was surprised at how well they played. I was proud of them, especially Coach Bowden for the way he bounced back."
