Gardner Named Offensive Player of the Week

The Redskins got their first win of the season Sunday and Rod Gardner was a big reason for their success. After struggling early in the season with a couple of dropped balls, Gardner broke out Sunday in a big way.

Rod Gardner has finally started making a name for himself in the NFL. Against the "Carolina" Panthers this past Sunday, Gardner was on the receiving end of 6 passes for over 200 yards and a touchdown.
