The Peach Bowl victory and the departure of Derrick Hamilton have vaulted the Tigers into the lead for the First Coast High School receiver. "Clemson is now my leader. It had a big impact. I checked out their offense against Tennessee and I loved it."

McIntosh and teammate Brandon Croley will get the red carpet treatment, as they will fly up to Clemson on a private jet. "They are sending a jet down to get us. My parents are driving up later."

The Sunshine state standout is looking forward to his official visit this weekend. "I'm looking forward to all of it. I like Coach Bowden along with Coach Swinney. They are two great guys. I want to see the campus more. I didn't see it much last summer. I am also looking forward to the banquet and meeting the players."

Clemson receiver Kelvin Grant will get the opportunity to host McIntosh this weekend during his official visit. "Coach Swinney called and told me that Kelvin Grant will be my player host."

Brandon has been working Mike to join him at Clemson ever since he committed. "Yes he has. I told him they are number 1 on my list. He's comfortable now. We had a good year together this year and hopefully we can have some more at Clemson."

Clemson quarterback commitment Tribble Reese has been talking to McIntosh about the opportunity to play together at Clemson. "I talked to him on Tuesday. I finally got a chance to talk with him. He tried calling while I was in California for the Cali-Florida game. We talked about the great opportunity we have to play together at Clemson. I look at it as a good opportunity as well."

When will the 6-2, 185 pound prospect make his commitment? "It might be next week after I take my visit. I'm kind of high on them right now."

McIntosh is also scheduled to take official visits to Florida and Florida State later this month. We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding receiver from Florida, right up through signing day 2004. Top Stories
