The Big Play Man: Jeff Francouer

Just call him "Big Play". Why you ask? Because Jeff Francoeur has a knack for making the big play... always. Over the last 2.5 seasons, Jeff Francoeur has 24 interceptions and many BIG PLAYS.

Take last week for example as Francoeur's team (Parkview) took on their bitter rival, Brookwood. With Parkview holding a seven point lead in the third quarter and Brookwood driving for the tying score, "Big Play" intercepts a pass and returns it for a touchdown. He didn't stop there. Francoeur had an encore later in him the game. Final score... Parkview wins 24-7 with "Big Play" Francoeur returning two interceptions for TDs.

That was just the start to a big weekend. "I visited Notre Dame," said Francoeur. "It was awesome. There is so much tradition up there. The coaches were nice and everyone makes you feel right at home. Academics are great and the fans were so supportive despite their record. I also met with the baseball coaches. It was just an outstanding trip.

"I will likely set up visits to North Carolina, Georgia Tech and Ole Miss. I also like Clemson, Florida and Vandy. I will take an unofficial to Clemson for the Florida State."

On the year, Parkview is 6-0 and ranked number one in the state. Francoeur has 32 tackles and 3 interceptions. On offense, he has 24 receptions for 400 yards and 3 scores. In the last 2.5 seasons, Francoeur has 24 interceptions and lots of big plays.
