ATH Jamar Bryant
Richmond Senior High School
Rockingham, North Carolina
Richmond County (NC) wide receiver Jamar Bryant returned from Clemson with a certain leader after meeting the players.
"It was straight. I got to hang out with the players, and that was pretty much it. They were pretty cool, and my host (Kyle Browning) was cool, too. I thought they were going to be all big-time since they go to a good school, but they were like the people back here at home."
Did Bryant plan on committing during or soon after his visit? "I don't know yet. I'm going to wait. Clemson is definitely in the lead."
Bryant heads to Georgia next week for an official visit then follows that with visits to North Carolina and NC State. We will continue to keep you updated on Jamar Bryant, right up through signing day.
Bryant's mom told us afterwards, "I would like for him to go to that school. That was his first pick. He wants to see what the other schools are all about first. If it were up to me he would go to Clemson but that's his decision."
