When Spring Valley defensive end Anthony Davis committed to Wake Forest earlier this week, the recruiting process appeared to be over. Davis, under direction from his family, decided on the Demon Deacons just when it appeared he was going to pull the trigger on a commitment to the Tigers.
Little did we know that just 24 hours later, Davis would change his mind in a phone call with Clemson offensive coordinator Brad Scott.
After commiting to Clemson, once again, the recruiting process appeared to be complete.
Anthony Davis continues to waffle back and forth between Clemson and Wake Forest as of Friday morning.
CUTigers.com has been told that this will likely come to an end soon, should the indecision continue. Look for the coaching staff to ask for a final verdict within the next 24 hours.
Also, we reported yesterday that Ridge View defensive tackle Dorrel Scott was considering an official visit to South Carolina this weekend.
As of Friday morning, Scott has decided not to take the visit, but may go out with Matt Raysor Saturday during part of his of official visit.
Scott remains firm with commitment to Clemson and will sign with the Tigers on February 4th.
Also, sources say that Dorrel is confident that Matt Raysor will end up changing his mind on South Carolina after his official visit there this weekend.
CUTigers.com will have more on Raysor later this morning.
