Hill Returns from Clemson

Anthony Hill is a new name that emerged on the recruiting scene at Clemson during the last few weeks, but that certainly has nothing to do with his lack of quality scholarship offers. Duane Long of Bucknuts.com checked in with Hill after his official visit to Clemson earlier this afternoon.

Hargrave Military Academy DE/TE Anthony Hill had said a few days back that he was hoping to visit Ohio State this weekend. Did he make the trip?

"No, I didn't," he said. "That was cancelled." The visit will not be rescheduled. Instead, he visited another school.

"I went to Clemson," he said. "It was a pretty good visit."

Hill has also been to NC State.

"Both want me pretty badly," he said.

He could play either defensive end or tight end in college, and those schools are recruiting him differently.

"NC State seems to be leaning toward tight end," he said. "Clemson likes me best at defensive end."

Hill has no preference where he plays position-wise. When it comes to visits, he said he's still got Michigan State and Missouri left and maybe one to Texas.

We will continue to keep you updated on Anthony Hill, right up through signing day.
