Clemson head coach Tommy Bowden and defensive coordinator John Lovett took to the road Tuesday afternoon to visit with Fork Union linebacker Maurice Reevey. Is the 4-star stand out any closer to reaching a decision?

Clemson took it's head coaching in-home visit today with Maurice Reevey, the top-ten linebacker out of Fork Union (VA).

"It was a real positive visit overall with Coach Bowden and Coach Lovett, but no decision has been made," says Fork Union head coach John Shuman. "(The Clemson coaches) are heading over right now to see his mother in the Richmond area to speak with her tonight."

Reevey has already made his official visit to Clemson and was hosted by former Fork Union standout Mo Fountain. The visit went well, and it now appears that there's just one stumbling block left to grab his attention before he announces his decision.

The Virginia Tech Hokies.

"Clemson knows he's going into Virginia Tech this weekend to visit and Coach Lovett will be in here next week," added Coach Shuman.

"(Virginia Tech) Coach Cavanaugh was in yesterday to talk with Maurice about the itinerary for the weekend and discuss their plans with him. Coach Beamer has not been to visit as of yet."

Reevey is expected to make a decision next week after his final visit to Blacksburg, sometime next week. We will continue to keep you updated on his recruitment, right up through signing day. Top Stories
