The Northwestern standout made one school very happy over the weekend when he told a coach that he would be coming there next season. "I told Skip Holtz on Saturday that I would be coming to South Carolina but it's not official," said Barber in an interview with "I'm not having second thoughts but I haven't made up my mind just yet."

Is it safe to say that South Carolina is the leader at this point? "Yes, South Carolina is the leader."

South Carolina Coach Skip Holtz visited the Barber home tonight to try to keep the Gamecocks in the lead. "Skip Holtz came by the house tonight. It went pretty good."

The Tigers will make their final push for Barber tomorrow night when Coach Blackwell and Coach Bowden visit his home. "Coach Bowden and Coach Blackwell are coming tomorrow night," stated the prize recruit.

When asked when he would have a final decision, Barber responded, "I really know yet. It could be any day now."

Barber had planned to visit Florida this weekend but he will not make that visit. "I have cancelled the visit to Florida," stated Barber.
